Clear, family-friendly guidelines on how you may use our printable sheets and digital studio.
1. Free License for Personal & Classroom Use
All coloring pages, illustrations, and custom PDF booklets published on Coloring Playground are 100% free to download, print, and color under our Open Educational License.
- Personal enjoyment, relaxation, mindfulness, and family coloring at home.
- Classroom teaching in schools, preschools, kindergartens, and after-school programs.
- Libraries, community centers, hospitals, senior centers, and nonprofit creative workshops.
- Printing multiple paper copies for students, children, or participants.
2. Digital Coloring & Social Sharing
You are warmly encouraged to share your finished colored artworks! When you color a sheet (either physically or in our Digital Canvas Studio):
- You may post your colored creations on Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, or blogs.
- Tagging or mentioning Coloring Playground (@coloringplayground) is always appreciated, but not mandatory!
3. Prohibited Commercial Restrictions
To ensure our library remains free and accessible for all families forever, the following commercial activities are strictly prohibited:
- Selling, sublicensing, or packaging raw uncolored sheets into commercial coloring books, Etsy digital bundles, or paid subscriptions.
- Claiming original copyright or authorship over our uncolored line art illustrations.
- Automated mass-scraping or redistribution on competing wallpaper/coloring aggregators without permission.
4. Digital Canvas & Saved Data
Our Digital Canvas Studio runs entirely in your web browser. Saved gallery artworks and drafts reside on your local device via IndexedDB. We recommend exporting completed masterpieces to your camera roll or computer to ensure you have a permanent copy.
